Message translation,
with explicit boundaries.
A technical overview of the runnable example currently present in the project workspace.
Canonical meaning.
Specific mappings.
The example uses a Spring Boot service with adapters for JSON and packed ISO 8583 input, a canonical payment model, and an ISO 20022 pacs.008.001.08 translator. The target message is checked against a bundled schema.
What it demonstrates
- Explicit source-to-canonical mapping.
- A single-transaction example target profile.
- Structured validation and error handling.
- Separation of adaptation, translation and validation.
What it does not claim
It does not send payments, implement every bank or network usage guideline, establish account existence, or provide CBPR+, SEPA, Fedwire or other certification. Its profile and validation scope must be extended for a real integration.
Production readiness and commercialization are not represented as complete. A proposed engagement would first assess ownership, requirements, network-specific rules, access controls and operational responsibilities.
